Don't be fooled and conned by the recent propaganda!!!

Drug companies are very fearful these days with the potential for universal health care coming and by the number of people choosing to use natural supplements over drugs for diseases. Concerned by this, they are saturating the news media with poorly done studies that discount natural therapies and even encouraging people to use drugs when they're not even sick, as preventatives. They are even going so far as to recommend drugs to young children in the name of PROTECTION.

One recent study on C & E in the prevention of heart disease used as usual low levels to do their study and a form of E that is almost worthless. Linus Pauling and Dr. Mathias Rath PATENDED a reversal and preventative program for cardiovascular disease in 1992. They recommended 3,000 mgs of C in the form of Ascorbic Acid with the amino acid Lysine as a preventative and 6,000 to 10,000 mgs of C in order to get a reversal. This study, listed below, only used 500 mgs of vitamin C. For vitamin E to be effective, it needs to be in a complex natural form including alpha, delta, beta & gamma tocopherols, or at minimum alpha tocopherol, in the natural form of D-Alpha Tocopherol, not in the dl-alpha tocopheyl acetate or succinate SYNTHETIC form that this study used. It also must be at a level that is more than is needed, to create an overflow effect.

The Drs. Evan and Wilfred Shute, eminent Canadian specialists (now deceased), who successfully treated over 54,000 cases of heart conditions, stated that VITAMIN E is an unusual "all or nothing substance" in that half a dose does not produce half a result. You need to take enough to "spill over" the top of the dam. What spills over the top produces the results. They stated there are 3 ways to make VITAMIN E useless. (1) Don't take high enough dosage to get "spill over" results. (2) Split the dose so you never get to the top of the dam. (3) Use the wrong form.

This study used 400 IU's of SYNTHETIC vitamin E when Pauling recommended up to 32,000 IU's a day for a long life. 2,000 IU's would be a minimum for most people, taken all at once with breakfast, of the mixed tocopherols like Unique E by A.C. Grace Company.

Next, there was a study stating that vitamin D did not prevent breast cancer. Again, in this study 400 IU's of D were used when 20 minutes of afternoon sun would provide a shirtless person with at least 10,000 IU's of D in a single dosage. Our ancestors who farmed, fished and hunted, all got very high levels of vitamin D, when the average in door working American get's little to none, even in the summer.

And lastly, this week a study came out that demonstrated that Statins have anti-inflammatory properties, and are now being recommended as a PREVENTATIVE for heart disease, even for healthy people. It was so effective that they cut the study short. Want to know why? So they wouldn't cause the side effects like muscle wasting, that comes with statin usage. You do understand the heart is a muscle, right? Not a good idea to waste it in an attempt to prevent inflammation like C-reactive protein levels, when high amounts of C & E can do it with little or no negative side effects.

Enjoy this weeks articles and remember that you will never get studies recommending natural remedies as long as they can't be sold as a drug at high prices.

Vitamins E And C Supplements Not Effective For Prevention Of Cardiovascular Disease... Neither vitamin E nor vitamin C supplements reduced the risk of major cardiovascular events in a large, long-term study of male physicians, according to a new study. READ MORE

Vitamin C supplementation lowers C-reactive protein levels... An article scheduled to appear in the January 1, 2009 issue of Free Radical Biology and Medicine reports the finding of researchers at the University of California, Berkeley that supplementing with vitamin C reduces C-reactive protein (CRP), a marker of inflammation linked with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Dr. Rath’s Scientific Discovery in Heart Disease... Coronary Heart Disease Is an Early Form of ScurvyDr. Rath’s research reveals that coronary heart disease occurs exactly for the same reason that clinical (early) scurvy does – a deficiency of vitamin C in the cells composing the artery wall. Humans, unlike animals, develop heart disease because their bodies cannot produce vitamin C. The average diet provides enough vitamin C to prevent scurvy, but not enough to guarantee stable artery walls. As a consequence of vitamin C deficiency, millions of tiny cracks and lesions develop in the artery walls. Subsequently, cholesterol, lipoproteins and other blood risk factors enter the damaged artery walls to repair these lesions. READ MORE

Don’t be deceived! Adequate Vitamin D DOES profoundly reduce the risk of breast cancer!... In spite of numerous studies that demonstrate a profound reduction in risk of cancer with increased sunlight exposure and vitamin D supplementation, a new study appears to completely contradict the idea that vitamin D has anti-cancer properties, especially for breast cancer. [1]Don’t be deceived. The researchers obviously have not kept up on vitamin D research, or they have deliberately conducted a study with the express intention of misleading the public, meaning that the so-called “research” falls somewhere between incompetence and deception. The Latest Pharmaceutical LIE... A new study (click to read) has made headlines and has people buzzing. Apparently, if everyone takes the cholesterol-lowering statin drug CRESTOR, you’ll have a 54% lower risk of a heart attack! It’s a miracle!Folks, this kind of information is disturbing for many reasons. First off, guess who funded this study? AstraZeneca, maker of Crestor! Secondly, a nasty side effect of taking this drug surfaced: many people in the study taking Crestor (vs those taking a placebo) saw blood sugar levels rise or were newly diagnosed with diabetes. Reduce heart attack; get diabetes! READ MORE

Statin drugs expose patients to dangerous, debilitating side effects... Millions of Americans take statin drugs to help lower their cholesterol, making it one of the most popular classes of prescription drugs on the market today, but like most prescription medications, these drugs are often unnecessary, as most Americans could lower their LDL (bad) cholesterol levels simply by changing their diet and lifestyle. However, we live in a world where people are looking for a quick fix, and doctors are eager to recommend "magic pills" to patients with any and all health concerns. The problem with these so-called "magic pills" is that they often end up doing more harm than good. Such is the case with Lipitor, the most popular of the five statin drugs available today.

Big Pharma's New Mass-Drugging Agenda Pushes Statin Drugs for Healthy People... Drug companies used to sell products for the treatment of disease. But it didn't take long for Big Pharma to figure out that the number of diseased people is limited, and therefore so are drug profits. To bypass this problem, they began inventing diseases and marketing them to the public as a way to create new demand for high-profit pharmaceuticals. This is how "bi-polar" came into existence, for example. Same story for ADHD, social anxiety disorder and even high cholesterol (which isn't a disease in the first place). READ MORE
